Bridal · Two websites, one studio app
Sarah Stoute Bespoke & Foundation
Two brands, two new websites and a custom studio app — off Wix, onto Google Cloud, inside a month.
The growth story
One bottleneck, released
Two brands renting a platform forever, limited in how they could sell, with the whole studio running off one spreadsheet on one laptop.
Two owned sites built and launched on Google Cloud in a month, with live dashboards and a custom studio workflow app on top.
$1,500+ a year of subscriptions gone, prices and stock changed by the team in seconds, and the whole business readable off one screen.

The challenge
Award-winning craft,
held back by a template
Sarah Stoute Bespoke is a bespoke wedding dress design and alterations studio in Christchurch, and a 2025 national winner at the New Zealand Wedding Awards. Alongside the couture studio sits FOUNDATION, a sister label making luxe bridal shapewear.
Two distinct brands, both running on Wix — paying monthly for a platform that limited how they could sell, gave them no real view of their own business, and would keep charging forever without ever handing over ownership.

The build
Two brands. One month.
We designed and built both websites from scratch and launched them on Google Cloud — a couture studio site for Sarah Stoute Bespoke, and a full retail store for FOUNDATION, each with its own identity rather than a shared template.
Both take online payments with instant, secure checkout, and both are structured for search from the ground up: proper page structure, service and product pages, and a blog that earns rankings for the searches brides actually make.

The dashboards
A business you can actually see
This is the part most website projects skip. Behind each site sits a private admin dashboard built for the people who run the business — not for developers.
At a glance: sales and revenue, best-performing collections, stock levels across the catalogue, promo codes and sale launches, early-bird signups, and every enquiry the contact forms capture. Website traffic and Google search performance are pulled in alongside the sales data, so the whole picture lives on one screen instead of five logins.

Nothing you don't need
Stop paying for the 90% you never touch
Platform subscriptions hand you an enormous toolbox. Most businesses use a fraction of it and pay for the rest every single month, forever — while the one feature they actually want turns out to need a paid add-on, or isn't possible at all.
We built the opposite. Every screen here exists because this studio asked for it, shaped around how they genuinely work. Nothing is bolted on to justify a price tier. And when the business changes, we build on top of it rather than waiting for a platform's roadmap.
Just as importantly, it's built for the client to run. Changing a product price, adjusting stock, launching a sale, creating a promo code — that's all done from the dashboard, by the team, in seconds. No developer, no support ticket, no waiting.

The studio app
From a spreadsheet to a studio platform
Before this, the whole studio ran on an Excel spreadsheet. Sarah and her team edited it by hand, and it lived on one work laptop — so if you weren't sitting at that desk, you couldn't see where anything was up to.
We replaced it with a custom workflow platform that works on tablet, mobile and desktop. Sarah can now check the flow of the business from anywhere: where each gown sits, what her team is working on, and which brides are due for a fitting. Managing staff and scheduling fittings went from a manual chore to a glance at a screen.
Consent forms went digital too. Brides now sign on a tablet during their fitting, and the signed form saves itself straight to that bride's profile on a live database — no printing, no filing, no chasing paperwork. Sarah photographs each fitting as she goes, so every bride's profile builds a visual record of her gown's progress from first fitting to final collection.
The opportunity
What this means for your business
Two brands, two websites, online payments, live dashboards and a custom internal app — delivered in a month, and cheaper to run afterwards than the platform subscriptions they replaced.
That's the opportunity agentic AI creates. Because the build is AI-assisted, custom stops being expensive: your software gets shaped around how your business actually works, instead of your business bending to fit a template someone else designed for a million customers.
Work that used to take a big agency half a year and a budget to match now fits inside a month — which means bespoke software isn't just for enterprises any more. If you've been told what you want is out of reach or "not possible on this platform", it's worth asking us again.
Inside the platform
Built for the person running the business
Not a developer console. These are the screens the studio uses every day — and every one of them was built to answer a question the team actually asks.
Commercial figures, client names and staff details have been redacted from these screenshots.
The creative
Two brands, two distinct worlds

Most businesses rent a website forever and never see their own numbers. These two own theirs — and can read the whole business off one screen. The Aigency team
